Henning and Marie met at the 2015 SHARP conference held in her hometown of Montréal, they went to the fireworks, and it was the beginning of a beautiful friendship. Since then, they’ve tried to see each other at every SHARP conference. Oh and Marie went to visit Henning in Sweden as he was leaving for a job in Norway!
Henning researches readership in 19th-century readership in Sweden and works at a university library. He’s also an antiquarian bookseller, choir singer, and mischievous child at heart.
Marie focuses on penny bloods to understand transmedia practices in mid-19th-century Britain, France and the United States. She’s also an election watcher, wanna-be data analyst, freelance translator, and grammar nazi.
